DAMBULLA SIGIRIYA DAY TOUR
Dambulla is located in Mathale district Central province of Sri Lanka, Dambulla is famous for being the largest best-preserved cave temple in Sri Lanka it’s been a sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries, this cave monastery with five sanctuaries with Buddhist mural paintings and 157 statues belonging to one of the UNESCO world heritage sites
Sigiriya rock fortress is also one UNESCO world heritage site dominated by a massive Colom of rock approximately 180meters high well designed for its defense by having rampart and moats built around it to the summit of the rock the land area up to a distance of miles can watch creating this magnificent masterpiece credit goes to king Kashyapa (AD 477-495) he built this place on the top of the rock with colorful frescos with Water Garden, Mirror wall, Boulder Garden and Terraced Garden
